Warranty Policy

At BuyServerTech, we stand behind the quality of our products and services. Whether you're purchasing a refurbished server, a hard drive, or any enterprise-grade IT component, your satisfaction and peace of mind are important to us.

Standard Warranty Coverage

Most products sold by BuyServerTech come with a 180-day limited warranty, unless otherwise specified on the product listing or invoice. This warranty covers any functional defects or hardware failures that may occur under normal usage during the coverage period.

What’s Covered:

  • Functional defects or hardware failures that are not caused by misuse, mishandling, or improper installation
  • Items damaged during shipping (if reported within 3 business days of receipt)
  • Replacement with equivalent product, repair, or refund (at our discretion)

What’s Not Covered:

  • Cosmetic wear or physical damage from improper use
  • Software issues, firmware upgrades, or configuration support
  • Third-party equipment not sold by BuyServerTech
  • Unauthorized repairs, tampering, or misuse of product
  • Data loss — we recommend data backups before use

Refurbished Hardware Warranty

We are certified refurbishers with over 18 years of experience in the IT industry. All refurbished products are carefully tested, inspected, and verified for reliability and performance. Our refurbishing process ensures the hardware meets high-quality standards and is suitable for enterprise environments.

Return Requests & RMAs

To initiate a return or warranty claim:

  1. Contact us at hello@buyservertech.com within the warranty period
  2. Include your order number and a description of the issue
  3. Our support team will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) and return instructions

RMA numbers are valid for 10 days from the date of issuance and must be clearly marked on the outside of the return package.

Returned items must include:

  • A copy of your original invoice or proof of purchase
  • All original components and accessories
  • Adequate protective packaging

Please note: We do not accept returns without a valid RMA.

Processing & Replacements

  • Most refunds or replacements are processed within 24–48 hours of receiving the returned item
  • Replacements are subject to availability. If a replacement is unavailable, we may issue a refund
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the product is deemed defective or damaged in transit
  • A 15% restocking fee may apply to non-defective returns

International Orders

Warranty coverage is valid for international orders. However, customers are responsible for:

  • All return shipping costs
  • Import/export duties, taxes, and customs fees
  • Providing photo or video proof of defect before RMA approval
